Scott Birke, EditorLike everyone else in the ’90s, Scott was a sponsored shred. But after realizing that he wasn’t going to make it big, he returned to university to finish up a B.A., then to Whistler to edit a newspaper and ride pow. There in the early 2000s, he managed to successfully blend writing and snowboarding. A longtime contributor to Snowboard Canada, Scott has been editing the magazine since January 2008. |

Jesse Fox, associate editorSixteen years ago Jesse had his start—a riding photo published in Snowboard Canada Magazine. After many years of chasing winter as a sponsored rider and then years of industry employment in marketing and sales and writing, he’s back in SBC, this time as associate editor for the very magazine that sent him on his passion-led path. He continues to keep the passion high riding snow, surf, and skating—every chance he can. |
